We respect you

So, one thing that really pisses me off is when people assume you hate gay people just because you're Christian. I'm sure every Christian has had someone assume this about them. Sure, some "Christians" may claim to hate them and want to kill them, but they aren't real Christians. One of the ten commandments say "thou shall not kill". If God loves everyone, then so should Christians. 

I know Christians in the past have done horrible things to gay people, but guess what? That was in the past. People who bring this up look equally as stupid as the feminists who say all men are responsible for what some men did to women 100 years ago.

Sure, some Christians may disagree with the act of homosexuality, but that doesn't mean they want gays to be oppressed or seen as inferior to straight people. As a Christian, I am all for gays being free to go in public without fears of being harassed or killed. I respect gay people just as much as I would respect a straight person, because hating someone for one aspect about them that doesn't even affect you is incredibly stupid.

No joke, I've had people assume I want gays to be oppressed just because I respect those Christians who peacefully disagree with the act of homosexuality. Like.....what the heck??? The stupidity of SJWs never fail to amaze me. Apparently, in order to be a "true LGBT supporter", you need to attack anyone who has an opinion differing from you, even if they're peacefully stating it.

I just wanted to rant about this, it's been bothering me for a while.
